November 27th, 2007

Unless you have been snowboarding for a long time you probably jump in and grab the first board that looks cool, and heck who can dis you for that, there is nothing wrong in having a good looking board. Yet there are mistakes made when buying snowboards that you should avoid here are 5 mistakes

1. The Board is Expensive so it must be Good - Shops love shoppers so you have to have your wits about you certain boards are for certain people

2. I picked up a board for $50 from a garage sell so it must be good - How old is it? Are their parts for it? Keep up with new technology dont try going down hill on something old and worn

3. I got this board at an annual blowout sale - Yeah and it has no edges

4. My friend has this board so I bought the same - You buddy is different to you, in size and weight remember that

5. The look of this board is amazing I must have it. - Cool graphics pull you in but a crap board takes you down. You must look to see that you have the right width requirement and size
